
Becoming chocolate makers
This business was born of two loves of ours; chocolate, and our daughter. The desire to launch a small business which would allow Julia to stay home with her new baby brought her, and her partner Cody, to further explore the world of Cacao.

Why Bean-to-Bar?
By utilizing the highest quality Cacao beans, roasting them ourselves, and undertaking the many processes that transform them into chocolate, we are able to explore the flavours of each terroir where Cacao is grown. This is the incredible versatility of Cacao that we highlight in our Single-Origin bars.
This also means that we are able to support small, family-owned, and often Co-operative Cacao producers. In growing and fermenting Fine-flavour Cacao, these producers implement traditional and bio-dynamic practices, along with modern knowledge and technology, and receive highest market value for their product.
